Y/Pb/Pr/R/G/B and single line
The waveform is a pattern to measure and display the brightness and its distribution of every column of the input video, separates the Y, Cb, Cr, R, G, B channels, and support single line waveform. You can select 0-1079 lines of the image, to display waveform of this single line.
The color of waveform pattern can be selected from white, green and false color, and display position can be selected from 4 corners and center in larger size, also the translucence of the pattern can be adjusted.
The vector scope pattern is to visualize the chrominance of input video signal by the distribution of color in the image on a circular scale. It represents saturation as distance from the center of the circle, and hue as the angle, in standard position around it. So you can see how saturated the image is and where the pixels in the image land on the color spectrum.
The vector scope pattern is divided into 6 districts, and stands for Red, Magenta, Blue, Cyan, Green and Yellow in different directions. The larger box stands for the color in 100% colorbar, and the smaller box stands for 75% colorbar. The color of vector pattern can be selected from white, green and false color, and display position can be selected from 4 corners and center in larger size, also the translucence of the pattern can be adjusted.
R/G/B/Y parallel display
The histogram is a bar graph that shows the distribution of R/G/B/Y(Luma) values in the image. The histogram is takes broadcast standard safety highest value as 100%, and 107% as the real highest value. The R/G/B/Y distributions between 100% and 107% are considered as ineffective values in broadcast standard, and marked in yellow to warn.
The histogram pattern display position can be selected from 4 corners, and the translucence of the pattern can be adjusted.
Audio Meter Level
With alert info and select any 2 channels to output
Support SDI & HDMI embedded audio meters display, and 3G/HD-SDI displays 16-ch, SD-SDI and HDMI displays 8-ch. The audio meter is green, and will turn yellow when exceeds -20dB, and turn red when exceeds -9dB. You can also select any 2 channels audio to output via 3.5mm socket or speakers.
The audio meters support audio abnormal alert info display, for example if the channel has no audio signal, the audio meter position will display “UNLOCKED”, and if the channel has audio signal but no volume, it will display “MUTE”.
The audio meters can be selected to display only 2 channels or only 8 channels, and support alert info on/off switch, markers on/off switch, and display position can be selected from 4 corners, also the translucence of the pattern can be adjusted.
GPI Interface and Control
The RJ45(RS485) port on the rear panel supports UMD control and GPI functions setting and control. There’re 4 GPI pins and can be assigned the following functions, by shorting with GND pin to enable the functions.
